GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY
I want to dismantle a system that no longer works for the American people—that means holding the federal government and elected officials accountable.
- BAN CONGRESSIONAL STOCK TRADES: Ban trades for members of Congress, their family, and associates. Even the possibility of a conflict of interest is unacceptable.
- TERM LIMITS: At most 6 terms in the House, 2 terms in the Senate.
- OVERTURN CITIZENS UNITED: Working to ban corporate political dominance at the state level in Idaho until we can achieve it at the federal level.
- CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM: Get every penny of dark money out of elections, demand full transparency, and ensure fundraising is no longer a priority for lawmakers.
- INDEPENDENT OVERSIGHT: Create an independent agency for oversight and enforcement of rules to keep members of government honest and legally accountable to the people.
A LABOR-FIRST ECONOMY
It’s time to create an economy that prioritizes working-class families. I am a labor-first, union-first candidate always.
- MIDDLE CLASS TAX RELIEF: Cut tax rates and regulations on middle-class Americans and local Idaho businesses.
- END CORPORATE EXPLOITATION: Increase corporate tax rates, remove corporate tax breaks/subsidies, and protect Idaho’s labor and resources from monopolized industries.
- INCENTIVIZE WORKER PRIORITIES: Reform the tax code to support affordable housing, childcare, public transportation, and infrastructure.
- REPEAL "RIGHT TO WORK": Overturn laws that have historically favored corporate monopolies over worker paychecks.
- PROTECT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING: Secure rights for federal employees and all workers while aggressively penalizing union-busting activities.
- SUPPORT LOCAL AG & ECONOMIES: Ensure federal grants and USDA subsidies go strictly to family-owned Idaho farmers and local businesses.
- RAISE THE FLOOR: Increase the federal minimum wage, benefit packages, overtime protections, and secure worker pensions.
- BREAK UP MONOPOLIES: Restore actual free-market competition by breaking up corporate monopolies that crush local businesses, artificially inflate prices, and stagnate wages.
REIMAGINE PUBLIC EDUCATION
Fully federally funding public education from pre-K through higher education, vocational training, trade schools, and professional certifications. It’s time to reimagine public education by bringing educators, administration, and students directly to the table to create a system that allows students to succeed. We must prioritize critical thinking and necessary life skills while removing broken standardized testing requirements, increasing teacher pay, and limiting class sizes. Taking the financial responsibility off local property taxes and levies allows every school district—from rural to suburban and urban—to thrive. Not a single cent of taxpayer funds should ever be diverted to private education. Not a single penny.
PATIENTS OVER PROFITS
We are demanding a complete and total overhaul of the broken American healthcare system. We currently pay substantially more in hidden taxes, soaring premiums, out-of-pocket deductibles, and unexpected medical bills than it would cost to comprehensively cover healthcare for every single American citizen. Taking health insurance companies completely out of the equation and moving to a universal single-payer system is the best, most transparent, and cheapest way forward for families. Creating a highly competitive government system lowers baseline costs across the board and forces private corporate healthcare providers to finally stop exploiting Idahoans' health for profit margins.
IDAHO IS NOT FOR SALE
Our mission is to permanently preserve Idaho’s public lands for future generations while generating new revenue for local counties. It’s time to reinforce the environmental protections for our water, our trails, and our forests by fully funding and staffing the federal agencies tasked with overseeing and managing public lands. We can cut administrative redundancy and unnecessary red tape while maintaining the absolute integrity of conservation efforts. Concrete studies have shown that creative, sustainable recreation opportunities are incredibly profitable. It’s time for Congress to support federal legislation that protects critical watersheds, mitigates devastating drought, and prevents wildfires by listening directly to local and federal stakeholders with firsthand, boots-on-the-ground knowledge of our public lands.
HOMES FOR FAMILIES, NOT HEDGE FUNDS
Large investment firms and Wall Street hedge funds currently own a staggering 26% of all single-family homes in the United States. This corporate hoarding is estimated to skyrocket to 40% of the market by the year 2030. Preventing massive firms from artificially inflating the costs of rent and home prices must be handled at the federal level first. We must look at aggressively revising the tax code and HUD to create solid incentives for local builders and developers; currently, broken tax breaks favor corporate developers holding on to vacant commercial lots rather than creating diverse, accessible housing opportunities. Lastly, we have to directly confront the cost of building supplies that are driving up prices for builders and buyers alike. Solid, protective trade policies, expanding American-made manufacturing markets, and building out domestic infrastructure for necessary building supplies are the structural ways we bring home prices down permanently.
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE FOR THE PEOPLE
American taxpayers cover an unbelievable 36 Billion dollars in direct subsidies for fossil fuel companies every single year. That number skyrockets to a massive 750 Billion dollars if you include indirect subsidies, backroom loopholes, corporate tax breaks, and federal handouts. Gutting clean and renewable energy contracts has stripped lucrative job opportunities away from Idaho trades and made the United States entirely reliant on fossil fuel monopolies who corner markets and jack up prices for everyday people. Utilizing renewable energy sources in ways that fit directly with local stakeholders and landowners to lower utility bills could be life-changing for working Idaho families. It’s time to get creative with all domestic energy options: using solar and wind to take pressure off the grid while expanding clean nuclear power and geothermal—but only when there is strict government oversight and ironclad regulations to protect local communities from reckless waste management and human error. Long-term safety and affordability must be the metric, not corporate shareholder profit margins.
PROTECT WOMEN AND MEDICAL PROVIDERS
Idaho has lost 43% of our practicing OBGYNs, and our district alone has lost 3 critical Labor and Delivery wards since the Dobbs decision. Our current congressional delegation flatly refuses to listen to medical professionals and local families, choosing instead to enforce their own narrow political interpretations of faith. We cannot legislate personal faith—there are 613 commandments given by God in the Bible; which specific ones are politicians planning to legislate, and whose interpretations are we forced to accept as law? Instead, it is time for lawmakers to step out of the exam room and listen to women, families, maternal-fetal specialists, and healthcare professionals to protect lives. Idaho is now forced to life-flight women out of the state at a rate six times higher than before Dobbs for easily preventable, life-threatening conditions that our local providers are legally terrified to treat. Our opponents continue to rely on blatant scare tactics and lies to divide us. This is a time for medical reality, basic human compassion, and safety for Idaho mothers.
A GUARANTEE FOR SENIORS
Social Security must be unconditionally guaranteed for future generations with automatic, real-world cost of living increases. These cost of living adjustments (COLA) must give American seniors the actual opportunity to retire comfortably and with full dignity. We must crack down on corporate Medicare Advantage plans, forcing private insurance companies to guarantee comprehensive coverage and ensure affordable prescription drug prices for the massive population being left behind by the current model. It is far more fiscally responsible and humane to proactively fund secure retirement structures than to let seniors slide into homelessness or face preventable medical emergencies due to state neglect.
IDAHO IS NOT A TECH DUMPING GROUND
Allowing massive tech conglomerates and AI server farms to build giant data centers in our state is a total betrayal of the people. These facilities offer almost zero long-term employment for local residents while having disastrous environmental effects on communities already suffering from severe drought and extreme stress on the power grid. Building and construction trade contracts can easily be generated through creative federal incentives aimed at expanding domestic manufacturing, building infrastructure for local Idaho industries, and creating actual high-demand, long-term careers. We don't need data centers exploiting our power and water grids. Full stop.
DIGITAL PRIVACY IS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT
The United States is currently decades behind in creating legal safeguards to protect consumers from tech monopolies. Companies currently hold unfettered, predatory access to every intimate detail of our private lives—our communications, locations, buying habits, and personal records. The quiet integration of big tech monopolies, automated flock cameras, facial recognition software, corporate structures, and military-defense contractors must be heavily regulated with ironclad protections for the American people. I will fiercely fight against warrantless mass surveillance and the unchecked sale of consumer data. Your data and privacy belong to you, not a corporate database.
DEFENDING PERSONAL FREEDOMS
The United States government has absolutely no business meddling in social issues or policing personal lives. No matter what you believe, how you choose to live, or what you look like, you possess the exact same fundamental rights and protections under the United States Constitution. Congress should not be wasting precious legislative hours or millions of taxpayer dollars trying to dictate what happens inside your home, your doctor’s office, or your place of worship. I will always stand up to protect the basic freedoms of each and every single Idahoan, and I trust local families and medical providers to make the intimate life decisions that work best for them.
HUMANITY, LAW, AND COMMUNITY TRUST
If career politicians in Congress actually cared about fixing legal immigration, they would have passed the Farm Workforce Modernization Act years ago. Instead, they allowed it to sit completely dead in committee while using the border as a political talking point. We must immediately streamline legal application processes, drastically expand the number of immigration judges and court attorneys to clear massive backlogs, and hire professional border agents for high-traffic entry points. Furthermore, the extreme government overreach weaponized by ICE across America goes against every single protection we have from government intrusion. Warrantless arrests, unconstitutional home searches, indefinitely detaining American citizens and legal residents without providing legal representation, and keeping children in dangerous, unsafe facilities goes against everything it means to be American. It’s time to shut down private for-profit detainment facilities, stop cruel mass deportations, and dismantle the current immigration enforcement bureaucracies so that we can rebuild real trust and safety with local communities.
